Have a Sony Ericsson K750? Wanna upgrade it to walkman phone — Sony Ericsson W800? A China site shows that we can flash the K750 ROM to upgrade it to W800!

hey. i just sold my w800i on ebay. and used the money to order the k750i.. HOW IN THE HELL DID U CONVERT THAT K750 TO W800 SPECS?

DO not try this way to convert your phone from K750 to W800, it will destroy the ROM and makes your phone useless… If your willing to cost your self with the risk than suit yourself… But I’m warning you, flashing the ROM will cause your phone to be disturbed, and probably explode!!!… PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR PHONE !!!! BELIEVE ME !!!

you can safely flash your phone, it will be better then your k750i, and about the camera you can update the camera driver, then you become a better camera from “k750i”, and many footers you will become!!

Hey, i’ve upgraded my K750i to W800i, and I can say that there sure is a difference. Oops, it didn’t explode, btw…
To do that, your k750i must be CID36, otherwise there is no way of doing it. Some of k750i or W800i are CID4, but only CID36 can be “converted”. The sound is improoved, you have “Walkman” function and bla bla bla. For any information you cand find me at dead_sb at yahoo dot com (subject must be “upgrading k750i to W800i”, otherwise I will not answer).

A.q i think it is wrong to upload w800 firmware to k750 because according to i have heard when you upload ur k750 can be broken down it can cause some problems also sound quality of 750 is better than w800 ok.make sure…

just get a walkman headset + bigger memory card, that will boost the sound quality and music storage similar to W800/W810
do not flash your phone, K750i has better camera and options [similar to cybershots]

I have flashed my k750i into w800 and believe me, the sound quality has became more better. Even i don’t have any prob. Always flash your main file but not flash file.If something goes wrong just upgrade your phone by SEUS. And again your phone will work like before
