ThinkSecret received sources that Apple will not reveal iPod video on Oct 12, 2005. Instead, Apple is more like to to reveal a new smaller size iPod which is 80GB, it may be a silver color version.

The new iPod will reportedly be available in capacities up to 80GB and will be slightly smaller than current color iPods, sources have said. It’s not known whether Apple will keep the player’s white casing or go with a silver version Think Secret sources spied in January. Contrary to Apple’s initial estimates, iPod nano sales have favored the black units; some observers have speculated that Apple may choose to offer another color alongside the iconic white and chrome.

I guess many people will disappointed again. *shrug* Current largest capacity iPod is 60GB. I don’t know how can one fill up all the space but a friend told me he use iPod to store podcast files… I guess 80GB is designed for people like him.
