YES! Apple announced the new ipod - Apple iPod Video! The new ipod is to replace existing iPod models (include special U2 edition). Like iPod nano, iPod video comes with black and white models. It plays music, as well as, video files. Apple iPod Video support MPEG-4 and H.264 video formats.

“Yes it does video,” he (Apple CEO Steve Jobs) said. The music players, which come in black or white with a 2.5-inch screen , will be available in a 30GB model for $299 and a 60GB for $399. Those are the same prices as current models with the same storage capacities.

Finally, Apple release iPod video. It does not disappoint us afterall. I am quite surprise that iPod video actually support MPEG4, I thought it will only support QuickTime video file. I was wrong.
Sorry, I am still feeling excited about the release of iPod video. It is cool! If I ever want to buy an iPod, I will get iPod video! (now I am feeling for lose the bid in eBay for iPod photo. :P)
I found that you probably need to spend extra bucks to get a iPod Universal dock (USD$39). It charge iPod and connect iPod video to TV. There is also a iPod remote control which is quite cool.
