Fancy an inkless pen, anyone? The guys at Grand Illusions is selling these peculiar stationery.
“How does it work?”, you ask? Since it doesn’t use ink, the ‘pen’ obviously has to leave something behind to make a mark on the paper, right? Every time you scratch the tip of the pen against a surface, it leaves behind a trail of metal lines.
The metal ‘nib’ is made out of a special metal alloy which is able to leave marks on most types of papers.

Although the mark appears to look like a mark of a pencil, the mark will not smudge, nor can it be rubbed off!
Unlike an ink-based pen, this pen will never dry out when you forgot to close the cap.
Personally, this item looks much more like a novelty than of a practical item. Meh, I’ll probably buy it to fill up my weird collections closet.
Be prepared to pay a hefty £14.99 for it though.
