It seems that Father’s Day is way in the future but I have found a suitable gift for our dearest dads and grandpas… especially for those who loves the oldies but are unable to play them since the turntable for those old vinyl records might no longer works.
A USB turntable would be an awesome gift for them to convert their rare vinyl records into MP3s or WAVs. Just plug this Numark Turntable into the USB port on your PC (either Windows or Mac) and rip it using the Audacity software provided along with it. You can even use the software to remove the clicks and pops that is almost a signature for all vinyl records.
In case you still wants to make sure that the molds & everything that grows on the records will not be an obstacle to your converting process, you can also plays it at either 33.33 or 45 RPM playback speed.
