MP3 player has been in the trend for more than a year and I’m guessing that it will go on for at least another year. It is so trendy that the mother of all pocket tools - Swiss Army - had conjured a music player with serious multi-tasking skills, or rather… a multi-tasking tool with a music player.

This first official Swiss Army knife with a built-in MP3 player is designed in an aluminum case with high-quality 3 line LCD display and 1 GB of storage capacity. It is not only an MP3 player that can handle multiple file formats, it can also be used as a flash drive for your files, records your voice using the built-in microphone and plays a stereo FM radio (and you can even record the tracks that is on air at that time!). The FM radio has 15 station presets to it and you can listen using a quality earphones with adjustable neck strap and anti-dangling mechanism. There is also a remote control with 2 earphone jacks and hold switch. My, my… talk about multi-tasking… superb isn’t it? In case the battery ran out, you can recharge the built-in battery via high speed USB 2.0 connection.

Surprisingly, the MP3 player can be detached from the Swiss Army knife (yeah, you don’t want to accidentally cut the earphone when you are using the scissors, right?). However, to much of my dismay, the Swiss Army only provides a 2″ blade, a mini scissors and a nail file with nail cleaner.
